Amy Hollister is the wife of Russ Brennan and the mother of Emma and Hayley Hollister.
When Russ first meets Amy he is upfront about his criminal past, but falls rapidly and deeply in love with her, and adores her daughters, both of which relationships are mutual. Amy comes into direct contact with Temperance Brennan in The Knight on the Grid, when she turns up on the anthropologist's doorstep, sick with worry over her daughter Hayley's cystic fibrosis diagnosis and the threat it poses to her life. Brennan instantly provides the name and number of DC's foremost specialist, assuring Amy that it won't cost her as he owes Brennan a favor.
