Buck and Wanda Moosejaw are one of the two alter-egos used by Booth and Brennan when they go undercover. Another set of their aliases are Tony and Roxy Scallion. Under those personae, the couple is a caricature of loud dim-witted New Jerseyans in order to be seen as little threatening as possible and be trusted by people.
History[]
Double Trouble in the Panhandle[]
The team investigates the death of female conjoined twins who were in the process of deciding to get separated or not. The twins were working in a circus, which means that Booth will come face to face with a clown during the investigation. Brennan and Booth go undercover as Wanda and Buck Moosejaw, Canadian performers in a knife-throwing act. Sweets helps Brennan and Booth understand Circus lingo.
The Change in the Game[]
The unidentifiable and gruesome remains of a male bowler are found lodged in the automatic pinsetter of a bowling lane. Brennan's father, Max Keenan, is a member of the victim's bowling team, but currently sidelined with an injury. With no clear lead in the case, Booth and Brennan go undercover as Wanda and Buck Moosejaw and join the very competitive bowling team in hopes of finding clues about the victim. Upon meeting the victim's teammates, including an arrogant 12-year-old bowling prodigy, it becomes apparent there could be many suspects in the case. Meanwhile, a very pregnant Angela anticipates her labor at any moment, but continues to work diligently via webcam to identify the murder weapon from the hospital.
The Diamond in the Rough[]
The Jeffersonian team investigates the death of a professional ballroom dancer who was murdered three days before her audition on a popular dancing competition show. In order to solve the case, Brennan and Booth go undercover as dance competitors Wanda and Buck Moosejaw to see if they can find potential suspects.
The Cowboy in the Contest[]
To solve a murder, Brennan and Booth go undercover at an Old West-style shooting competition, while Angela and Hodgins discuss the future of their family and Cam gets close with photographer Sebastian Kohl.
The Steel in the Wheels[]
When a young man dies in a horrendous hay baler accident, Booth, Brennan and Aubrey slap on trashy disguises (as Buck and Wanda Moosejaw) and go undercover at a rowdy demolition derby competition to investigate the case. Meanwhile, Dr. Gordon Wyatt returns and assists Hodgins and Cam when the ongoing Gormogon case hits a dead end.
