Dr. Daniel Goodman was the director of the Jeffersonian Institute and a former archaeologist.

Early Life

He is a loving husband and father to a pair of five-year-old twin girls. He is also the deacon of his church. His way of working leads Hodgins to think of him as subjective and long winded, and lacking the qualities of a pure scientist, although the antagonism between the two develops into a friendly rivalry as the series progresses.

Appearances

Daniel has not made any appearances beyond the first season. As of The Titan on the Tracks, Dr. Goodman is said to be on a "three-month sabbatical", though he hasn't been seen or even mentioned since then. He only appeared in 18 episodes of season 1, and was replaced by Dr Camille Saroyan in season 2.

Season 1

He and Jack Hodgins do not get along.
