Cam and Booth is the professional, friendly and romantic relationship between Camille Saroyan and Seeley Booth.

Overview[]

Cam had been in two relationships with Booth; once before he worked with Bones and after she came to the Jeffersonian. After they broke up, they continued to work together and are now just friends.

History[]

Early history[]

Camille and Booth have had an intimate/romantic relationship in the past, but he did not want to marry her.

Cam has known Booth and his younger brother, Jared, for fifteen years, which seems to support this conclusion or at least indicate they knew each other when they were teens.

Season 2[]

In The Truth in the Lye, they slept together at the end of the episode. It is revealed however in Aliens in a Spaceship, that they had struck up their relationship again after she came to the Jeffersonian, although Booth appeared to have some reservations and was uncomfortable telling anyone at work, especially Dr. Brennan, about his connection with Camille. In The Man in the Cell, Cam inhales a toxin while performing an autopsy, which puts her life in danger. After this case, Booth broke up with Cam when he asserted workplace relationships put everyone in danger when high-pressure situations arise.

Season 3[]

For her father's 60th birthday in The Intern in the Incinerator, Cam asks Booth to be her boyfriend between 6:30 and 10:00 so her father wouldn't judge her about not being in a relationship. Booth reluctantly agrees, though he doesn't want to get in the way between whatever conflicts her family have. However, Cam's sister Felicia kisses Booth (at 6:20) to get back at Cam, making Booth exaggerate about his relationship with Cam when she comes back.

The next day, Booth tells Cam the truth, which slowly starts to make her angry, even though she reconnected up with Felicia during the dinner. Cam confronts Felicia when she comes into the Autopsy room to take Cam to lunch. They argue and it somehow ends with both of them angry at Booth as if he started overreacting.
