Thomas Joseph "T.J." Thyne (born March 7, 1975) is an American film and television actor. He was born in Boston to John J. Thyne II and Catherine Thyne, and has five siblings.
One of his brothers is television producer Tone Thyne; another is attorney John Thyne III, who plans to run for the Santa Barbara City Council in 2009.

T.J. Thyne attended high school in Plano, Texas. He went on to attend the University of Southern California's theatre program, graduating in 1997. In 2001, he co-founded Theatre Junkies, a group offering workshops and professional development for actors in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Career

Thyne is currently playing Dr. Hodgins on Bones. He has appeared on such TV shows as Friends, 24, The O.C., My Wife and Kids, CSI: NY, Huff, Boston Legal, Charmed, Home Improvement, Without a Trace, Jack & Bobby, Nip/Tuck, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS, Cold Case, Angel, Good Morning, Miami, Half & Half, Kenan & Kel,Grounded for Life, Dharma & Greg, That '80s Show, Titus, Just Shoot Me!, and Walker, Texas Ranger.
He also starred in and co-produced the 2007 short film, Validation.[1]
